Contract Documents

Once a firm price has been established, Guenther Homes drafts a set of contract documents, which includes a set of design drawings, a complete specifications list, and a contract to build your home. If an agreement is reached, we ask for a down payment. Upon receipt of the down payment, Guenther Homes will begin the construction of your home, which usually begins with site preparation.

Construction Process

At Guenther Homes we pride ourselves not only in the quality of our homes, but also in offering a hassle-free construction process. Our building sites are maintained to provide a safe environment that is also conducive for superior workmanship. You will find the site to be clean and free of loose debris at all times.

During construction, your input continues to be important to us. We will schedule site meetings with you that will give you the opportunity to ask questions and check-up on the construction process.

Construction Duration

Our construction schedule is designed to permit thorough and quality work, while being as expeditious as possible. Obviously the size and complexity of your home will determine how long it will take to complete your home. The contract documents will include a closing date that takes all of the above into consideration.

Typically, the time required to complete an average-size custom home is four to five months.
